Gable is committed to making our website welcoming and usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
Steps we have taken across this site include:
- Semantic, well-structured HTML with a logical heading order.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from screen readers.
- Color combinations chosen to meet contrast guidelines.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- A “skip to content” link so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the navigation.
- Labeled form fields and clearly described links and buttons.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences, and content that remains readable without JavaScript.
An ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a one-time task. We continue to test our site, learn, and improve, and we deepen our understanding of what accessibility means across every part of our business. If a feature is not yet fully accessible, we want to know so we can fix it.
